young people
Care 4 Every Child home’s are Registered Children’s homes for four young people whose ages will be determined on admission by the Registered Manager and of either gender. The children & young people accommodated by Care 4 Every Child have one common feature in that they have all suffered difficult life experiences.
The home provides care and support for children and young people who may be experiencing emotional challenges and a range of complex needs. This includes children who have experienced trauma, loss, neglect, disrupted attachments, or other adverse childhood experiences, and who require additional support with their emotional wellbeing, relationships, communication, and personal development.
The home supports children and young people with complex and additional needs, including ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome, attachment-related needs, social and communication difficulties, emotional regulation needs, and vulnerabilities linked to past trauma and life experiences.
Our approach is child-centred, therapeutic, and trauma-informed, recognising that every young person’s experiences, strengths, and needs are unique. We aim to provide a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where children and young people feel valued, build resilience, develop positive relationships, and are supported to achieve their full potential.
Some children accommodated may be due to behavioural difficulties in which a family placement has either temporarily or permanently broken down. For other children, reasons may include the family placement being unsuitable for various reasons. All of which can leave the young person feeling unwanted, rejected and lost.
We will provide these services to young people from all ethnic backgrounds. All children placed with Care 4 Every Child, regardless of their background and past experiences will be treated with compassion, respect and dignity. They will be supported and engaged in a way to promote and encourage a positive outcome throughout this difficult time of their life. Children & young people of any ethnic origin or religious persuasion may be admitted to the home and will be encouraged to actively follow a given belief(s) if they wish to do so.
